Mode of Action
Bifenthrin works primarily through Contact and Ingestion. It targets the nervous system of the insect. Once the pest comes into contact with the treated surface or consumes the foliage, the active ingredient disrupts the sodium channels in the insect's nerve cells, leading to rapid paralysis and death.
Because it is also an acaricide, it provides the added benefit of controlling mite populations (like Spider Mites), which many other pyrethroids cannot do.
