Available in a 400 ml variant, Orondis Opti contains 400g/L of Chlorothalonil and 6g/L of Oxathiapiprolin. It is a Suspension Concentrate (SC) formulation that works systemically and translaminarily to protect crops from fungal infections.

Chlorothalonil is a broad-spectrum fungicide that works primarily by inhibiting the activity of key enzymes involved in fungal cell respiration. It interferes with the production of energy in fungal cells, leading to their death. Chlorothalonil acts as a protective fungicide, preventing fungal spores from germinating and growing on plant surfaces.

Oxathiapiprolin (6g/L)
Oxathiapiprolin is a systemic fungicide that acts by inhibiting the biosynthesis of specific proteins necessary for fungal cell growth. It disrupts the development of fungal hyphae, effectively preventing the fungus from spreading through the plant. Oxathiapiprolin provides translaminar activity, meaning it moves within the plant to offer protection on both the surface and the internal tissues, providing long-lasting disease control.
