General Cultivation Practices:

Sowing Time:
- For optimal yields, sowing is recommended between June 15th and July 15th.
Seed Rate:

Sowing Method:

Row and Plant Spacing:
- Row-to-row distance: 1.5 feet.
- Plant-to-plant distance: 6 inches (single-side sowing).
Soil and Climate:
- Prefers well-drained sandy loam soils.
- Thrives in hot, dry climates with temperatures between 35-40°C.
Irrigation:
- Requires minimal irrigation; however, timely watering during critical growth stages can enhance yields.
Harvesting:
- Typically ready for harvest when the majority of capsules turn yellow and begin to dehisce.
