• Impact: By blocking ALS, Metsulfuron Methyl interferes with the plant’s ability to produce proteins, leading to stunted growth and eventual death of the plant. It is absorbed through the leaves and roots and translocated throughout the plant to affect both actively growing parts and storage areas.

Tribenuron Methyl:

• Mode of Action: Similar to Metsulfuron Methyl, Tribenuron Methyl also acts by inhibiting ALS activity. It prevents the synthesis of vital amino acids, halting protein formation and impairing various metabolic processes in the plant.
